How to install our Photoshop action packs

Installing our Photoshop actions is easy. Most people will have no problem with the quick installation below, it just takes a few seconds and you’re up and running!

Quick installation

1. Unzip the Photoshop action pack .zip file you downloaded from us.

   

2. Find the file with the .atn extension that was included in the .zip file.

   

3. Double-click the .atn file or open it in Photoshop.
4. Done! Once Photoshop is opened and running, the action should be installed.

   NOTE! You may need to make sure the Actions panel is visible by ensuring Window->Actions has a checkmark next to it (Mac: fn-option-F9, PC: Alt-F9).

   

Manual installation

Having trouble with the quick installation? Give this slightly-more manual installation a try, it’s also quite easy to do!

1. Unzip the Photoshop action pack .zip file you downloaded from us.

   

2. Open Photoshop and make sure the Actions panel is visible by ensuring Window->Actions is checked. (Mac: fn-option-F9, PC: Alt-F9)

   

3. Open the drop-down menu for the Actions panel, and click Load Actions…

   
   

4. Navigate to the action pack folder you unzipped, and select the file with the .atn extension.

   

5. Click Open to load the action, and it will appear in the Actions panel.

   

6. Done!
