Cathedral Cove, by Amit Kamble
Cathedral Cove has been one of the most magical places I’ve shot the Milky Way. The waves crashing with bioluminescence, serenity of the beach, magical feeling of Narnia and the gorgeous Milky Way rising. It just can’t get any better.
J Burden Images and I reached there around high tide and were going to miss out on Milky Way rising, none of us knew how much water we had to cross through to reach the other end of the beach, with all the gear we had it was a gamble. Fortunately it was only few steps and that probably was the best decision we ever made. Else, would have missed out on this beautiful scene.
This image is a stack of 20 images, both median stacked separately in Photoshop to reduce the noise. Those 20 images are from a set of time lapse that I shot.
Exif for each frame: 20sec, ISO 6400, f/2.8 at 24mm using Samyang 24mm on Canon 6D
