Path, by Tyler Sichelski
I’ve been missing the nights staring toward the Milky Way core. Dreaming of those warm nights, watching the galactic core dance across the sky. I love how the galaxy lined up perfectly with this road…almost like you could drive into the heart of our galaxy — a mere 26,000~ light years away.
Canon 6D w/16-28mm f/2.8
Foreground: 16mm 30 sec f/2.8, ISO 6400
Night sky: 10 25 sec. exposures at 16mm f/2.8, ISO 6400 – aligned/median stacked in Photoshop to reduce noise, and enhance detail.
Taken near the Estrella Mountains of Arizona in July 2015.
